I found this awhile ago on the Ryler Society tumblog. And every time I watch it I laugh just as hard as the first time I saw it.

So I thought I would share it. But here is the catch… you’ve got to vote for your favorite fall in the comments section, cause this is just toooo good to pass up.

My vote is most definitely for #18 or #11. The element of surprise in the  “OH CRAP I JUST MISSED THE BAR AND AM GOING TO FACE PLANT” is absolutely exhilerating.

side note… I kind of feel bad for laughing at these lovely athlete’s expense. Kind of. No really, I do feel bad. But it still is just soooo funny.

Laura Moss - 16 was really good, but I’m going to go with 4…that guy got so much air! It looked so fun until he came back down on the bar. I don’t know how some of those people didn’t die…

We love to celebrate life with all that we have. Whether it be the simplest of celebrations over the victory of my poorly pathetic hockey team, or a free weekend with no obligations, or the monumental occurrence of actually finishing grad school-it’s just in our blood to celebrate life.

With that said, a few days ago we found a fabulous reason to celebrate.

And that would be comment numero 100 on this here blog.

So we decided to throw a little online party (if there is such a thing). Not because we are running some little lame blog competition, but simply because we needed a reason to give away a sweet pair of STUNNER SHADES and box of OTTER POPS!

So with no further adue…. (drum roll please) the 100th commenter on this here blog was…..

KJ Swanson out of good ol’ Seattle.

To quote her comment exactly: “you had me at gleaming…”

So there you have it KJ. You’ve just won yourself a box of otter pops and stunner shades. We hope you are even half as thrilled to be winning such a prize as we are to be giving it.

For the rest of you out there…. go find a reason as stupid as ours and celebrate it with all that you have. Even if it is that you new husband actually remembered to take out the trash. We know that is a huge victory in our home.

Life is too short to not celebrate it. All of it.

Party on friends.

Jarrod Shappell - I am trying to find words to describe what I am feeling right now. However words would only get in the way of the awe that I am currently directing towards the Harms family.

I loved the 30 days of blogging. Its great to see your work and hear your thoughts.

Rachel Brooke - hahah! Wow, my labor day had nothing on yours!

  • September 5, 2008 - 2:16 am

meredith - Oh whitney…that first one of you is JUST outstanding.

  • September 5, 2008 - 9:19 am

Laura Moss - Ahhh! Whitney!! HAHAHAHAHAHA–Ben talks you into the craziest things!

So yesterday we joined Gabe+Rachael for their seriously amazing celebration. While importing (as I type) I ran across this image that Whitney grabbed of their bagpiper Neil.

Neil=stud.

Seriously. So if you need a bagpiper for your next backyard BBQ, wedding, or birthday shindig… look him up. We’ve worked with him twice now this summer and the dude is amazing.

……………………………………………………….

On a side note…. our friend Craig had some last minute tickets on his list for tonights Dave Matthews show at the Gourge. We are excited on multiple levels to being going.

……………………………………………………….

And for those that are keeping track… I officially blogged something every day for a month. They may not all have been pretty, or actually worth reading/looking at, but I did it. And I honestly can’t say that I have ever committed to something for a month and actually pulled it off. Other than sleeping and using the loo… but even those are questionable.

Regardless, you better believe I’m gonna keep it up. See ya tomorrow friends!

If you are a music fan in the slightest bit, this short documentary will most definitely move you. The short tale is that of the owner of the largest vinyl collection in the world and the bleak future that lies before him.

If you have a few minutes, definitely check it out… it’s brilliant.
